A1 is 4!

It was a busy day yesterday celebrating A1’s 4th birthday. 4!!! How did that happen?*

I think he had a fantastic day. He opened every present (and he received many, the lucky lucky boy) with excitement and enthusiasm. The Ps had stayed over the night before so he spent most of the morning playing in his PJs and dressed as a pirate before we went along to the village hall for his party.

We had some Duplo, playdoh*** and stickers and colouring and his play tunnel for entertainment before we had party food (sandwiches, cocktail sausages, cheesy puffs, hummus and bread sticks, pepper, carrot and cucumber sticks and some.pizza followed by grapes, strawberries, party rings and Jaffa cakes). Then we sang Happy Birthday and he blew his ‘4’ candle out on his Frozen cake.

Then we played Pass the Parcel**, musical statues and stick the scale on the dinosaurs back and a bit more free play before it was time to hand out party bags and say goodbye. I think all the kids enjoyed themselves and although I was a bit worried I think it went OK. A big thank you to all our helpers (especially the P’s) and to all the parents who helped to tidy at the end too!

Then it was back home to open more presents and play with G for a little bit longer before he got to use his new Frozen electrix toothbrush and wear his new Octonauts PJs!

I don’t want to do that one because it’s too tricky for me to answer

Erm… Red!!

Erm….Pizza!

Fairy cakes

Yes! Erm….playing in Jeremy Fishers and playing with William and making the models

What kind of person are you?
Erm…an excited person

What do you want to be when you grow up?
Erm….a metal detector

What do you think is the most important thing in life?
I don’t know

If you could go any place, where would you want to go?
Erm…. to the zoo

If you could learn to do anything, what would you want to learn?
Erm…. how to write. And read.

What is something that makes you happy?
Opening presents. Opening presents in Spiderman wrapping paper.

What is something that makes you sad?
Erm…when somebody throws and doesn’t play with me and hits and bites me and doesn’t share toys

What is something you’re really good at?
Erm… I am good at playing underwater sea trains. That’s what I’m good at. I’m so good at that.

What is something you want to do better?
Erm…playing with Buzz and Woody

What is love?
Erm…. I can’t tell the answer to that. It’s too tricky for that answer for me. That’s for when you are 5.
